Trying to decide which school to send your child to in September 2020?
You and your child are warmly invited to attend one of our drop-in mornings - any time between 9am and 11am
Our school is caring, inclusive and friendly. We have made significant improvements and we are working every day to make it the BEST that it can be.
We know that choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you can make. You need to find an environment that will support them in their development and positively challenge them in their learning.
Whichever school or schools you are considering, we strongly recommend you visit the school during the school day and take a full tour. This will give you the best view of how the school operates and will allow you to get meet the pupils, staff and observe the ethos of the school in action.

Children develop quickly in the early years which is why, at Stanmore Primary School, we ensure that we do all that we can to ensure that your child has the best possible start to their school life. The four themes of the early years: the unique child, positive relationships, enabling environments and learning and development underpin the experience for your child.
We have experienced early years practitioners who can understand your child’s development and plan their next steps. Our school value 'Belonging' is fostered through warm and supportive relationships. Our school curriculum is designed to help your child appreciate, participate and innovate in their learning in the early years and beyond.
Sharon Taylor – Headteacher
I have been teaching in Reception or Year 1 for nearly 10 years. I am a Leading Foundation Stage Practitioner for Hampshire. This means that my teaching in the Early Years is considered to be exemplary and I support other teachers to develop their practice by running training courses and offering them the chance to visit us at Stanmore. I absolutely love teaching children when they start the "Primary School" chapter of their educational journey.
Our experienced Early Years team are skilled at getting to know each individual child inside out and learning what motivates and excites them. We use this knowledge to shape an exciting curriculum for them which is lead by their interests and ignites a life-long passion for learning. I look forward to meeting you at our one of our open mornings!
